FORMALLY LAUNCHED IN SEPTEMBER 2014, THE NEW CHIEFTAINS was created by photographer & storyteller Agenda Brown.
THE NEW CHIEFTAINS are a Tenacious Tribe of talented people who have natural prowess, tenacity, leadership, and individuality. They are nonconformists who challenge the status quo. Their instinct to succeed is driven by passion and endeavour. THE NEW CHIEFTAINS can be found in many different arenas, from education, design and philanthropy to food, art and music - enigmatic personalities across numerous disciplines. They are part of the tribe because of who they are, and what they do to enhance society and the human spirit. In many cases, their careers and public status are inconsequential; their success in their chosen path is their recognition.
NEW CHIEFTAINS rarely identify themselves as being one until they read the stories of their chapter fellows. In this, THE NEW CHIEFTAINS fosters community amongst this group of extraordinary ordinary people, as well as inspiring us to forge our own paths towards a successful life.
Agenda Brown was a transformational photographer and visual storyteller. Self taught, he has been described as the “Vermeer of photography”. Fascinated by humanity, portraits were a means to present to the world, and often to his sitters, the unique magic of their story.
